It promotes the growth of new cells, kills bacteria, and can prevent scarring. Lavender eases pain, treats acne, allergies, inflammation, bruises, burns, bites, eczema, psoriasis, sores, hair loss, wounds, and boils - just to name a few. The oil increases energy, relieves cramps, expels gas, and can help menstrual symptoms. It can be used in chest rubs to help coughs, colds, infections, and excess mucus. It helps the digestive, respiratory, and urinary systems. Lavender is excellent for pain relief especially for arthritis, rheumatism, sciatica, and muscle aches and pains.
Lavender is also a leveler. It can easily create a sense of balance and calm from mental distress. It reduces stress, eases the nervous system, helps headaches, balances the body and mind, and is highly beneficial for insomnia.
