SPEARMINT is treats acne, dermatitis, itching, and ringworm. It is a great oil for the digestive system, just like peppermint. It helps expel gas, ease nausea, and helps stomach cramps and indigestion. Spearmint will help loosen mucus and cool a fever. Because of its cooling properties, it works well for muscle aches. Spearmint can be used to help ease headaches, stress, dizziness, and mental fatigue.
Spearmint is one of my favorite oils to use with children. It shares many of the same properties as peppermint essential oil, but is not as potent, making it excellent for children. They love the scent and it is safe to use. Be sure that for kids, you use no more than a 1% dilution if applying topically.
Quick Tip #1: Use a few drops of Spearmint in a facial steam to help clean the skin and kill bacteria
Quick Tip #2: Add 10 drops of the essential oil to 1 ounce distilled water. Shake well before use. Allow your child(ren) to spray around the bedroom for a lovely, uplifting scent that encourages positivity and mental clarity
